Developing a Hacker Methodology: Praxes of Data Liberation as Archival Preservation

What could a hacker methodology look like? This talk will present the theoretical underpinnings and praxes-laden enactments of one such potentiality. Drawing upon a hybrid enmeshment of posthumanist critical theory coupled with 19th century anti-political Stirnerian rejections of subjectivity, we’ll look at the method in action by exploring ways in which the survival of piratical, non-legalist shadow archives can be fostered via the protection of the contributors thereto.
