Facilitating Knowledge Sharing open workshop.
When? Thursday, February 18th 2016, 13.30-15.30
Where? The communal 5th floor study space in Niagara (Nordenskiöldsgatan 1, Malmö).
What? Dear colleagues and comrades, have you ever needed, say, a journal article or a book for your research, but couldn’t readily procure access to it? Then you may be interested in a skill-sharing workshop to learn about various potentially-useful vectors of information attainment, and how one may in turn help provide access to others. Topics emphasized will be the potential procurement and safe and secure dissemination of information, source obfuscation, and general, basic OPSEC (operations security). In other words, when educational knowledge output is all too often restricted behind locked gates (whether in the form of technological, legal, and/or economic barriers to access), how could one both acquire and facilitate informational access enhancement so as to create one’s own shared, enacted archives of knowledge practices and cultural production?
This is an open workshop to potentially explore and share relevant skill-sets anyone may have.
Students, colleagues, and everyone both inside, outside, and in-between the university are all very, very, welcome!
